Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  It helps to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment of the disease.  In September, a few Cadets raised money in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.  They hit up their friends, relatives, instructors, and the community to help raise money.  What made it more interesting was that they had to do push-ups for every dollar they raised.   On the crisp morning of Saturday October 4^th, the cadets met on the quad to do the push-ups.  Luckily they got a little help from their friends to help with the push-ups!  Below lists the amount raised and the number of push-ups they had to do:

Cadet Blake Crain- Raised $100.00- 500 push ups

Cadet Katherine Haack- Raised $100.00- 500 push ups

Cadet Alexander Calderon- Raised $8.00- 80 push ups
